OGLE-III Sample Long Period Variables the Large Magellanic Cloud, containing 1663 Miras, used perform search periodicity these objects and identify candidates stars based on location period-luminosity diagram. Out 108 were identified as potential candidates, with variability broadly consistent LSP. This makes 7% whole sample Cloud. Most, all LSP are C-rich stars. results analysis suggest that Miras may exhibit periods. However, long-term can also be related amplitude irregularities known exhibit. Further study will necessary draw definitive conclusion.
